Vertigo? Not a skilled climber? You can walk up here from finix/loutro on the road the cars use. It's still stupefyingly high, but you'll only be sxxt scared, without being in actual mortal danger. It is a 2 hour walk, up hill.... The hike is only for those who really know what theyre doing...see the photo of the hike path that looks to be simply jumping off a cliff...call me a coward, but that aint me...Once you're here, the hospitality is likely to bring my vertigo induced panic back to sanity. The food is quality yum. The wine is that great sensation of fitting perfectly with the scene, but will travel as well as a 98yo wheelchair bound granny with dementure...better off staying in situ. Read moreWhat an awesome place! I stayed there for 10 days and I loved it. The hosts, Giorgios and Mirela have been fantastic. Extremely kind and generous, helpful and great cooks. The room was very clean and spacious, the food made from fresh ingredients and you can also use theit kitchen to cook yourself. They are also great animal lovers with goats, chickens, cats and dogs. The heat was unbearable, bugs were a constant nuisance, especially if you opened the door (even for seconds) and you had to exit the room to access the bathroom.
