My partner and I visited Nikiti early September and Domestik was a restaurant we visited twice due to the very delicious food we tried the first time. So the second time we visited, we ended up ordering the same dishes.
The white tarama salad was the best tarama we both had by a long shot. It incorporated all the ingredients in a whipped like texture and felt like eating clouds. The greek salad had the tastiest tomatoes we had in a while and the feta on top was perfectly salty and very creamy.
The main dishes, however, was where we encountered some unpleasant inconsistencies. On our first visit, the stuffed calamari had areas (especially the tentacles) that were over-grilled and burnt. This gave a bitter taste that overwhelmed the palate. It was also only stuffed with feta, which, at first, paired well with the seafood, but by the end it became too heavy for the dish. We found out on our second visit that, in fact, the calamari should have been stuffed with a combination of peppers and feta. This stuffing was what the initial dish needed to be perfect. On the second visit the calamari was also cooked to perfection, which makes me think that the chefs get easily overwhelmed during a busier night.
We also ordered veal cooked in tomato sauce and served with aubergine puree. During our firs visit the veal was tender and melted in the mouth. However, the sauce and puree were on the oilier side which made the dish unnecessarily heavy. On our second visit the veal was tough and hard to eat and, although the sauce and puree were great this time, the meat could have been cooked more.
We also ordered a glass of red wine which was from an opened bottle left at room temperature, which in 28ºC weather is too warm even for a red wine.
We recommend Domestik if you are looking to ear somewhere closer to fine dining, but only if you were to ear here once. In that case the restaurant would be a 5★. If you were to eat here more that once the food inconsistencies make the restaurant an...
Read moreWe came for dinner and ordered two burgers and a pork tomahawk. The place wasn’t too crowded—there were a few free tables on the terrace and we were the only ones inside when we arrived (that changed about 15 minutes later).
Unfortunately, the food wasn't as expectated. The pork tomahawk could have been great, but it was badly burned. The burgers were a disappointment too—the buns were clearly not fresh, probably at least two days old, meat also burned. Surprisingly, the salad ended up being the best part of the meal.
I didn’t have time to complain or ask for replacements, but I honestly don’t understand how this place has such high ratings. Maybe we just ordered the wrong dishes, but the quality was far from what...

Good shaded outdoor terrace. There are 4-5 free street parking spots, first come, first serve order. Nice decor, free wifi. But the best out of everythi g is the taste of the food. Godly delicious.
Do try the burger, this comes from a person who usually avoids meat. Burget is served "naked" no buns, but the meat is size is large; accompanied by some fries.
Coffee/Cappuccino was also perfect in taste, a rare find in Greece.
Service was fast, you need to allow for some cooking time, which means everything is fresh, cooked on the spot.
At the end, payment accepted by card also contactless or tap to pay. Definitely a return...
