Rivelia Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Sithonia

Very dissapointed by the approach of the waiter / owner(?). Tourists are coming to your place because of the good reviews, not to be scammed by you. For everyone who reads this post I'll keep ot simple. I asked several times for a type of fish (sea bass / lavraki), which I saw on the menu was 50 Euro / kg. At first, the waiter tried to sell me another type by advertising how rare is a grouper (80 Euro / kg). I insisted I wanted the sea bass. He played dumb and said he didn't know where on the menu was that fish. (oldest scam in the book). When the bill came, the fish on the bill was another type with a cost of 65 Euro / kg and a weight of 1.67 kg, so around 110 Euro.

That is so low from you, it makes me want to vomit.

WE ARE TOURISTS, WE ARE NOT DUMB. YOU PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE FOR YOUR KIDS BECAUSE OF US. I'M SICK AND TIRED OF ALL THESE SCAMS. 25 - 30 EURO DIFFERENCE IS NOT IMPORTANT TO ME, BUT FOR YOU LOSING CLIENTS BECAUSE OF MY REVIEW IT WILL BE MORE PAINFUL

Any restaurant with a rating higher than 4.2 is excellent. All restaurants with a rating higher than 4.6 massively invest in their public image and are not better.

Stavros, this is not how you should run a restaurant, even on a busy evening. Come to us, give us some drinks and bread and we will wait for the service. Spending 45 minutes on an empty table (no plates, no fork, nothing) is a no-go for me with a hungry kid. After 15 minutes, I entered the kitchen to ask for the menus. After 30 minutes, I entered the kitchen and asked to order at least one drink. The answer was, I'm not your waiter, please wait. After 45 minutes of waiting on an empty table, I spoke to you.

Maybe the food is good, but we had no chance tasting it. Definitely, the worst service in 25 years spending in Greece!

Absolutely over valued/hyped restaurant investing in PR, but...

Absolutely outstanding – a must-visit on Chalkidiki! We’ve been to Rivelia several times during our stay and every single visit has been a highlight. From the moment you arrive, you feel genuinely welcomed and looked after – the service is incredibly attentive, warm, and professional.

The food? Delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Whether it’s seafood, grilled meats or the classic Greek starters – everything tasted amazing and was clearly made with love.

And then… the sunset. Wow. You get to enjoy it right from your table, feet in the sand, cocktail in hand, while the sky turns golden over the sea.

It’s not just dinner – it’s an experience. We always felt first-class here, and can’t recommend it enough. Thank you, Rivelia team, for making our holiday even more...
