The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. However can we please talk about the service ? And how my family was treated today on my nephews name day !! After being told that they were not taking reservations, since they were not needed , my sister and her husband ( along with my elderly mother) went to get a table for my nephew’s celebration of his name day . The entire experience became a circus . The waiter asked my sister if they had reservations ( but they were not required) and then after some back and forth .. the proprietor of the restaurant became , rude and obnoxious . Treating my family as if they do not frequent and support the place . It was extremely embarrassing.. the restaurant has very good food and prices but they have a lot to learn about how to treat customers ( locals and not alike ) . You want the revenue and patronage from locals and visitors alike ? Then WORK ON YOUR MANNERS AND ETIQUETTE!!! My brother in law will not be revisiting. The experience left a terrible taste in his mouth ! Our family was treated as if we were bums of the street ! Unreal !!! When I visited during the summer and spoke highly of the service , food and prices I was certain that I was not mistaken … I have much to think about...

Overview: Family-run taverna with traditional Greek cuisine.

Space: Taverna offers two sitting zones – outside and inside. The verandah (outside) has an awning roof to protect you from the sun and frameless glass enclosures to protect you from the wind. Inside sitting area is equipped with a wood stove to keep you cozy and warm during the cold season. There is plenty of space for a family or a company of friends.

Food: Traditional Greek cuisine with a selection of Greek meat specialties. The menu offers both magerefta (pre-cooked foods usually made in pots of in the oven and usually made in the morning) as well as grilled to order options. The portions are very generous.

Atmosphere: Very friendly and laid-back.

Prices: Reasonable We paid 55 EUR for three persons and had a selection of starters, three main courses, and two jugs of house wine.

Parking: There is a space for parking outside of taverna.

Bathroom: Very clean...

Local restaurant near to where we stayed. Amazing value, three people, starter, main and a big beer was €40. Cheese pie is a bake pastry stuffed with feta, topped with honey and sesame seeds. Grilled feta, is topped with tomatoes onions and peppers. The kebab was served with chip, salad, bread and garlic dill sauce. The moussaka was two large squares. The pork had a sweet lemon sauce that you could choose to have rice or chips. We were also given a dish of sliced apples with honey and cinnamon at the end of the meal. Really...
