A hidden gem in this part of the island. Definitely recommend visiting even if you have to travel out of your way. The service that we received at this place was like nowhere else. Once you come here you are welcome by an amazing greek man, who speaks English like it is his first language. He made us a tour of the small restaurant, which I think also works like a mini market for the village. He showed us the turtles that they care of and afterwards he brought us to the back in the kitchen where he presented us with all the amazing food they had cooked for the day. The experience was like entering in your grandma’s house when you were young and smelling all the amazing food she had prepared for you. They had a lot of options to choose from and everything we had was just great. This is a place where you can taste authentic greek food just as the greeks would cook it at their homes, not like a fancy restaurant would do it. After all the food and great service, the owner gave us some free fruits and desserts on our way out. Would definitely go back if we visit the...

This was the highlight of our trip! The most amazing food, the most amazing family and the most amazing man! The food is homemade and all the vegetables are from their garden. This immediately feel at your first bite. The atmosphere is amazing and we highly recommend going on the roof garden. It gives a feeling of peace, nature and how you can be there withou interfering with the natural order of things. Also, a plus, you see every sunset from there and pictures are amazing, haha.
Lastly, but mot least, there we found the kindest and funnies man: he is the owner, giving everyone some oranges everytime they came and went, giving you extra food, tasting everything before. He hugged us so warmly in our last night there that I actually teared up a bit - the genuine feeling of a stranger being so happy and kind to see you everytime, not the touristy type of hospitality, but a grandpa being happy for visiting him. You feel at home, you eat better than in your home and you actually have an authentic experience...
Read moreWhat an amazing experience, from the moment you enter you are warmly welcomed by Angela and his family and taken directly into the kitchen where you shown all what is available that day and there you can make your choices from fish, pork, beef, lamb, and vegetables, there is no menu card as each day the meals are freshly prepared and cooked. I did not see any roasted Greek potatoes but was told not to worry and if we didn't mind waiting for a few minutes then he would prepare them just for me. My wife chose the fish and I had the lamb and both were really delicious. I love lamb and this had to be one of the best I have ever eaten together with the Greek potatoes. The meal also included a free Greek desert, also very tasty. What was also amazing was the price, for the two of us we paid 40€ which included our drinks and the tip. We enjoyed it so much that we went back there a second time...
