Me and my 5 friends went to Kavos for our first ever group vacation, and I could not be happier with how it turned out! Nikolas Club is owned by 3 brothers, all of whom were super friendly and welcoming with us. They were always helpful, treated us like we knew each other for years, the entire place's atmosphere is just friendly, and even family-like. Spiros, the owner of the "Taverna" aka the restaurant is obviously a loving family man, who did everything he could to accommodate us and provide us with the best service they could offer. The food was all home-made and delicious. They even had a "half-board" meal plan, which includes breakfast and dinner for 7 days, for a reasonable price. (this helped us out a lot as we didn't have to go out to eat or buy stuff for the fridge) Breakfast is from 10 30 to 13 30, and includes a choice of English breakfast for those who are into that, eggs and chips, and for those seeking something simple: toast and jam, among a few other meals. Each one we tried, each one was great, and there was always more than enough on our plates! The dinner is served from 19 00 to 22 00, with a wide variety of foods: from Greek Mousaka, to home-made pizza, to some seafoods like octopus and prawns, everything was delicious and well-worth its price! They even organize Greek Barbecues with Greek music every saturday, which again: delicious! The Taverna is right next to the Club's private beach, with free sunbeds and umbrellas for the customers. The party-city of Kavos is about 30 minutes of walking away, but we never really had to go in to the city to eat as the Taverna had everything we wanted and more! All the food we tried was delicious, clearly home-made and made with love and attention, which just makes the meals even more unique. All in all our experience, and we will definitely come back at some point in...

This is a mixed review which may well be because the season was close to an end. Apart from the bar at our apartments this was the closest bar restaurant to where we were staying. When we visited the first time we were welcomed by Spiros the owner, who is a really great guy. We stayed because of the amazing views of the beach and because he was so warm and friendly. Mythos was €2.50 a bottle so we stopped and enjoyed the sunshine as it was our first day. We quickly ordered a Greek salad which was great and was served by one of his lovely daughters who was getting in a bit of English practice.

We actually stayed for a few hours and talked to Spiros about the Island, Greece in general, business etc and really enjoyed ourselves.

This was until we ordered a second meal, it must have been because it was the end of season and unfortunately no fresh food was being prepared. But the food we got was either well overcooked or just microwaved. I'd politely decline both the Mousaka and the Sofrito. Enough said.

However after the meal when we had decided to head back home to our apartment Spiros insisted on giving my wife and I a lift as it was dark on the road and he didn't want us to have to dodge traffic as we were new to the Island. What business owner would you expect to do that for their guest's?? Great guy.

We did visit again a couple of times, the first time they were open and again we were welcomed with open arms by Spiros, the second unfortunately they were closed (usually between 5 and 7pm) so we didn't get the chance to...

My husband and i was looking for a place that has peace and serene moments so we can enjoy our holidays away from those over rated restaurants like Kavos area and corfu town, so we found this SKALTSOUNIS TAVERNA located at ST. PETERS BEACH which is being develop at the moment. Our first dinner night has been BRILLIANT , we have peaceful meal and just enjoy the view of the sea and the mountains just taking it all in that we are in this beautiful island of corfu especially in this place. Our first night here was FABULOUS, i did have the grilled squid and it was FANTASTICALLY cook for me just how i really really wanted, my husband had the pork chops and It was BEAUTIFULLY cook for him just as he wanted as well, which he had it again on our second time in here, and i had the octopus and god it was GORGEOUS, i enjoyed every bit of it, our meals comes with salad or chips, you can have anything with your meal really as he is flexible with his cooking as long as its available in his kitchen. The place is very CONDUCIVE for peaceful dinner and perfect dinner date spot, he also have a very good choice of music and he played it in very subtle tone, not too loud bot too low just right. Overall I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. A MUST...

This is the best restaurant and experience on the island When my fiancé and I visited this restaurant we loved the owner immediately. His hospitality and warmth were something I haven’t seen on a holiday before, it felt like eating with family. He genuinely seems to care about his guests enjoying their meal and enjoying the time they spend at his wonderful tavern. We ordered grilled fish, fried aubergine and the house wine and loved all of it! Personally, I’ve traveled to well over 50 countries and this was my first trip where I went to the same restaurant twice in just a few days. The food was that good and the owner made it that special. If you come order the baklava as well, it’s delicious! But to be honest, so was everything we ordered! I can’t wait for our next trip to the island to come back and visit this wonderful restaurant, it will be on the top of our To-Do list!
