Giorgaros Restaurant in Santorini is a hidden gem that truly excels in both quality and service. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warm hospitality that makes you feel right at home. The staff is attentive and genuinely cares about their clients, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The highlight of Giorgaros is undoubtedly the fish. The seafood is incredibly fresh and prepared to perfection, showcasing the rich flavors of the Aegean Sea. Each dish is a testament to the chef's expertise and passion for quality ingredients. Whether you're enjoying a simple grilled fish or a more elaborate seafood platter, the taste is consistently outstanding. In addition to the exquisite food, the ambiance of Giorgaros is charming and inviting. The restaurant offers stunning views, adding to the overall dining experience. It's the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a leisurely meal with friends and family. Overall, Giorgaros Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in Santorini. The combination of high-quality fish and exceptional service makes it stand out as one of the best dining establishments...

This place has the best quality fresh fish of my greek trip! It was hard to find the place since the GPS does not show this restaurant or the light house is, but if you able to find the light house, this restaurant is right next to it. You need to try their Scorpion fish soup, the best sea food soup I had. The fish is still in tack to eat as a dish after the soup is made. It taste like lobster. Their lobster is also more meaty than American lobster. This restaurant has a large fridge to show you all the selections of fresh fish. The price is very reasonable, I had a big meal and bring the left over for dinner. Their tomato ball is great too, Greek tomato taste much sweeter than California tomato. I drove from down town to here and spent over an hour, it was totally worth it. Not to mention about there great views! The food was so great, I would recommend to see the light house before going to the restaurant, after eating there, I did not even get off the car at the light house. They made the sea food the ways that...

Giorgaros is a very special place. This family-run restaurant serves fresh, hearty food that will make you feel at home. The fava was our absolute favourite dish. We were here over a month ago and we still think about this dish every day. We ate here twice for lunch and both times we had delicious food served by the most wonderful staff. They are the kindest, most welcoming people. The owners' daughter (sorry we didn't get your name) was incredibly lovely - she even accommodated our strange request of getting a lovely bowl we fell in love with as a souvenir. (Thank you again!) They would always give us dessert when we asked for the bill, which we thought was a really sweet gesture. They really appreciate their guests here. We loved that they had dogs at the restaurant as well - if we could adopt Rosa we would (if Rosa has had puppies, please reply to this message with photos please!!!!) This is a must-visit if you are close to Akrotiri/the lighthouse. The views here...

What an amazing little find. We were just driving around killing time on our last day and saw this restaurant on the map. We stopped and at first thought it was closed. I’m so glad I went to the door and found it open. Greeted by such a friendly lady, handed the menu and advised that if we wanted the fish we were to opt at them in the fridge to choose. We decided to have a selection of appetisers: the fava beans, meatballs, mum’s pie and fries. Every dish was brought out one after the other. All clearly freshly made and cooked. Also had pita bread, fresh of course and straight off the griddle. I cannot fault one thing. The food was amazing. And if you want fish, it really has been caught that day by the owner. They have 2 boats, one for catching fish and one for taking tourists on fishing trips. The food we had plus two soft drinks came to €41 total. Very, very good value for outstanding food and service. Thank you so much.

Very good authentic food, VERY reasonable prices and awesome view and location for sunset at the lighthouse. The fish are fresh caught every day and the menu depends on what fish they have available. Not frozen from the store. They use a lemon infused oil dipping sauce. It tastes as delicious as it sounds. Try the Saganaki - the fried cheese with lemon juice. It’s an explosion of flavor in your mouth that’s chewy and delicious. Get the pita instead of the bread, it’s warm, soft, and chewy - utterly amazing. Portions, like many Greek places, are sizable so be prepared to share. The place is very homely, it looks and feels very local with the wait staff wearing T-shirt’s, shorts, and smiles. The place is devoid of pompous airs like many Thira and Oia locations but the food overcompensates.
