During our cycling trip in Southern Europe, we stopped by this restaurant. It seemed to be the liveliest spot in the area and popular among locals. As Japanese visitors, unfamiliar with the language and restaurant customs, the staff kindly accommodated us.
The menu and price list was available, which was important for us. Offering a variety at reasonable prices. There was something for everyone, and the dishes were both plentiful and delicious. A big thank you to the waiter who spoke fluent English for her kindness. Thank you!
However, we faced a challenge on our part. Learning about the tipping custom in Greece, we believed their service deserved it. Unfortunately, lacking experience in tipping, we returned without knowing the proper way to tip the hardworking staff. I had never tipped before. We should have learned more about their culture...
Read moreI went to this place inspired by the very good reviews and I found much more: it is a very welcoming place, with a perfect staff and a splendid choice of food in the menu. I had four amazing zucchini balls and an abundant and original Tourta salad, made with cabbage, cheese and a lot of other ingredients. It is on one of the main roads of the city, just a few minutes from the archaeological museum, and provides a splendid spot to take a rest and enjoy the fresh shadows of the trees next to the restaurant.
