I present to you their “Bifteki,” as pictured. After spending a week in Tilos, I can confidently say this was the worst meal I had on the island. Before ordering, I even told my sister that bifteki is always a safe choice—it’s impossible to get wrong. Oh boy, was I mistaken.

Though advertised as “from the grill,” it looked (and tasted) more like it had been boiled. The texture was odd, and the meat was completely lacking in seasoning—as if they had run out of both onions and spices. No tzatziki or sauce was offered to help salvage the dish, either.

That said, the local cat seemed thrilled with it—at least someone enjoyed the meal.

I later tried to express my concerns to the staff by showing them the photo, but unfortunately, my feedback was met with little understanding. Judging by other reviews, this place can produce good food. But please—consider taking the «bifteki»...

A very accomplished family restaurant at a magnificent setting with unusually high kitchen quality. Yorgos is a professional cook, enthusiastic about his art, giving attention to the significant details. Taste his fish fillet with parmesan cream, if you find it. The mother masters traditional plates, like home made tarama, stuffed goat and stuffed vine leaves with meet (dolmadakia). The father grills succulent pork chop and beef. And young Lefteris with his warm smile explains and suggests with genuine hospitality. Everything in the most refreshing spot of the island at very reasonable prices. Try the zucchini balls with the home made tzatziki, or the liver cooked in wine, or the refreshing salad with local goat cheese. The sour dough bread is made by the aunt. Yet most of all, their big specialty is their...

It is a nice place at the seaside. Quality of the food was also really good. Service was also ok. What bothered me is that I ordered fried octopus among other dishes and only got one tentacle for 18€. This is way too expensive. Especially because it is under the main dishes on the menu. Can't reccomend this restaurant because of this. I order octopus a lot of times in greece and never got this little as main dish. If I order an octopus, you give me what you...

This is by far the best restaurant, from my experience, on the island of Tilos. Now, I’m a fussy eater and the meals exceeded my expectations. The dolmades was heaven - a fusion of flavours - and the aubergine dip was amazing! I normally don’t eat onions but the dip - you couldn’t get any fresher than the mix of vegetables in the dip. All this, topped with rose wine… divine! 💖🌟
