Almiri beach bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Tinos

After a week in Tinos, Almiri is one of the most decent beach bars in the island.

It is located 5 mins, by car, from the center. So, it's a no brainer when you have no time to travel around the island for a swim. Parking is easy right outside the beach bar.

All the facilities are new and the place is greatly decorated. This adds to your total experience.

Music - which is extremely important - was 100% our taste (retro pop, groovy remixes)

During August, if you want to find a sun bed you must be there max at 11.00-11.30 am. Also, there's a cost around 10€ for the regular couple of sunbeds.

So, why 4 stars: In general during August, in the island, there's a shady process with the "booked" sunbeds. If you go early (10-11) you find 7/10 sunbeds booked in the first 3 rows. After a while many sunbeds are finally available - without a booking - to some groups.

Again, each business can do whatever they want. It's their business and they have every right to treat beds availability as they want. I'm just highlighting the "process" for you to be aware and make sure you go early enough to find...

What a beautiful beach bar located walking distance from our Villa Blue Gres. The plan was to go stay here for lunch and move on in the evening but the service and vibes were so chic we didn't want to leave. It was nice and quiet for us so ended up having the waiters and waitresses to ourselves as well the beach during sunset. Can't remember all their names but Anastasia was so lovely to talk to as well the young gent and manager who gave us a complimentary fruit bowls for the table. Drinks are reasonably priced too. The food was tasty, and they accommodated to our vegetarian needs by removing meats from dishes when we ended up staying for dinner. The music was lovely throughout the day, not too loud or crazy. Really loved this beach bar — beautiful setting, relaxed atmosphere, and great music playing at just the right volume. The place has a great vibe, perfect for unwinding by the sea. What makes it even better is that it’s ideal for windy days — the layout and location offer natural protection, so you can still enjoy the beach comfortably.

The only downside is that the sunbeds are placed very close to each other, which takes away a bit from the otherwise relaxing experience. Still, overall, it’s a place we’d definitely...
