Στο ''Επινειο'' καταληξαμε οταν φτασαμε στο νησι, με παροτρυνση ντοπιου.Βρισκεται κοντα στη παραλια της Χωρας, στη πλατεια Ταξιαρχων.Οπως μας ανεφεραν ανοιξε σχεδον πριν μια 10ετια, οικογενειακη επιχειρηση που εχει περασει σε 2η γενια πια. Ο Νικηφορος κ ο Νικος που μας εξυπηρετησαν,εχουν δωσει τη μοντερνα ματια στο χωρο κ στη διαμρφωση του μαγαζιου,ακολουθωντας την εποχη τους.Το μενου εχει παραμεινει με παραδοσιακα κ τοπικα πιατα, οπως φρουταλι ,μαραθοκεφτεδες κ.α,ολα με τοπικα προιοντα, οπως λουζες κ ντοπια κρεατα.Στο καταλογο υπαρχουν κρεατικα κ ψαρικα. Φιλοξενο κ φιλικο περιβαλλον, αισθανεσαι αμεσως οικεια. Ο χωρος με εξωτερικα τραπεζια που απλωνονται στη πλατεια κ διακοσμηση σε νησιωτικο στυλ με μοντερνα στοιχεια. Καθησαμε σαββατο μεσημερι οτι φτασαμε στο νησι,προτιμησαμε μαγειρευτα κατα βαση. Παραγγειλαμε αγγιναρες ξυδατες, μελιτζανοσαλατα γαυρο τηγανητο κ μαγειρευτα ημερας, μουσακα, κατσικακι λεμονατο κ κοκκορα κρασατο. Ολα ηρθαν γρηγορα καθοτι μαγειρεμενα ημερας, ζεστα κ καθαρα. Καλομαγειρημενα, ο κοκκορας ηταν λιγο στεγνος σε καποια σημεια ,παρολο που οπως κ το κατσικακι ειχαν αρκετη σαλτσα. Γενικα ολα ηταν γευστικα κ  νοστιμα. Τα παιδια μας εξυπηρετησαν αμεσως , για το λογο οτι ακομα δεν ειχε πολυ κοσμο  σε σχεση με μιση ωρα αργοτερα που γεμισε. Ηταν ευγενικοι, προθυμοι κ ο επαγγελματισμος τους φανηκε ,οταν επισημαναμε οτι η ποσοτητα του ενος απ τα πιατα ηταν λιγη (λογω κομματιου του κρεατος) μας εφερε επιπροσθετα. Αναλογια ποιοτητα καλη λογω πρωτης υλης ,ποσοτητα σε μερικες επιλογες χορταστικη - ικανοποιητικη ,τιμη οικονομικο για νησι, εποχη εκτος σεζον βεβαια. Ειναι καταλληλο για ολους κ αν βρεθειτε,μπορειτε να το επιλεξετε για γρηγορη λυση,...

I came her by suggestion of a friend working in another restaurant nearby. I do not have enough good things to write in one review, I had the Rooster with pasta and it was hands down the best meal I’ve had in weeks. That, coupled with the cucumber salad( also the best I’ve had since being on the islands), local butter and bread, and fantastic white wine was all perfectly prepared, fresh and delicious. The most impressive thing was the quality and speed of the service though, truly great hosts. I will be back, no question. This dining experience...
