Lefko Beach Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Tinos

The beach is a narrow strip of sand, at the center of it there are two lines of comfortable sunbeds (2 beds at the price of 30€) and shades, backed by a bamboo wall. Lefko Beach Bar manages drink&food, and rental. Music can be loud, depending on where you sit. Rule of the place is that you get a receipt every time you get a service, while you pay only at the end of your stay, when you check out. Additional rule you should be aware of before choosing to stay here: you can’t decide to leave the place for a while (to go for a walk or eat elsewhere in one of the two tavernas at the corners of the beach), as this would mean abandoning the place unattended (and not eating their food, let me add!). This is the laughable rule that I learned from the manager, who actually didn’t realise that also other people were doing exactly the same. Personally, I don’t like eating while sat on a sun-bed (regardless of the quality of the food served), under full sun, with my beer warming up at the speed of (sun)light. In fact, I prefer to treat myself at a proper place, sitting at a table and enjoying my ice-cold 🍺 beer under the fresh shade of the branches. So I decided that my family and I would be shift-eating where the heck we wanted, and just not lose our paid place at the beach. I felt uncomfortable having to discuss with the manager about this stupid rule that should at least be made clear at the check-in, this is why I do not advise this...

i asked about a good beach for kids near the port of Tinos. One of the options was Agios Romanos. We decided to pay a visit, although the access road seemed winding. Indeed, the last part is full of serpentines and very steep and narrow towards the end. We went to the organized beach area, to the Lefko beach bar. The price for an umbrella and two sunbeds is quite high, 12 euros. Consumer price, ie soft drinks, sandwiches, beer, etc. are acceptable. The service is quite fast, the staff very friendly. The beach is quite clean, fine sand, when entering the water is an area with stone on a portion of 10-15 meters then there is sand. Great beach and beach bar. But, left and right from the beach bar there're mostly families with children, and the younger guys at the sunbeds and umbrellas of the beach bar are much fewer than middle age people. If this is a true pattern (and my observation just an isolated case when I visited the place), would that tell the owners of the beach bar to adapt hhe music they play to the profile of their clients? Just saying ... Other than that, a bit expensive, built good mattresses and nice beach and good cocktails...
