This tavern is combining every single thing you might be looking for in a meal in tinos. It has irresistible view and the food itself is amazing, very friendly staff with inspirational dishes that capture the atmosphere of the island with local cuisine and the village itself one of the prettiest of the island. The most incredible thing about it is that the owner has built the tavern from scratch and also cooks your food as well as sometimes coming to your tables and share a word or two with you. Very nice atmosphere, I would come back every year if I could!! Very affordable...

Simply the best place to eat in Tinos (with the tavern « Tereza » and the restaurant « O Ntinos »). This restaurant would deserve 6 stars. Location is great, decoration is done with care and is beautiful, staff is super nice and welcoming but food is something different: extremely good and traditional but prepared by a real chef who bring attention to details and presentation. Amazing atmosphere in the picturesque village, Skalados. I have to admit, taverns in Tinos are quite expensive but "stou zaharia" keeps prices in reasonable rates. Every plate we ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS! You have to try keftedakia with fries and fava! Totally worth the 5 stars! If I get back one day, I will definitely visit again!
