Arkadia — Restaurant in Municipality of Trifylia

We just visited Arkadia Restaurant, and wow, what a place! The view is absolutely stunning - perfect for a nice meal together. The service was great, too; the staff were super friendly and really took care of us.

Now, onto the food! Everything we tried was delicious. The meatballs were so tasty, and the 1821 salad was fresh and yummy. We also loved the chicken eggplant, gyros rolls, and the braised beef cheeks - they were fantastic! The smoked pork steak was cooked just right and packed with flavor.

Honestly, it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a place to eat, we can’t recommend Arkadia enough....

Only to please friends from out of town, I gave this place a second chance. Food is par for the course...good but nothing to write home about. Other restaurants in the area do a better job with taste, texture ( some of the offerings in a mixed grill platter were either dry or uninspired) and presentation. Of course my opinion is a little biased ( and this was strike one) as I was once very disappointed with the promise of buffalo steak only to be told that the meat order " never came in" once arriving at the restaurant - nothing was offered in lieu of the steak and no real apology was made, so...

We had 3 dinners in 3 different taverns in the old town of Kyparissia and no doubt this place was really bad compared to the others. First of all the service… oh god, it took them 50 min just to come and take our order… no smile, no attention to no one and nothing.. Half the people in the place was looking for any waiter.. but we couldn’t find them.
