Great meals at very reasonable prices and knowledgeable staff. Unfortunately did not take server's recommendation and regretted it ( my dinner partner thoroughly enjoyed the lamb shank and thankfully was willing to share some of it). My only slight disappointment is inconsistency. Be that as it may, have been there before and will definitely go back. Always enjoy the place....now feature my two favorite meals...yes both lamb - the fore mentioned lamb shank and the newest addition of ‘provatina chops’. Loosely translated they are mutton chops. Very fatty but dripping...

Non troverete l'insegna "Old Market" ma "Παλιά αγορά" che è la traduzione in Greco. Frequentatissimo da turisti è forse il ristorante con più tavoli all'aperto. Buona e varia la cucina, un menù di piatti locali, con porzioni abbondantissime. Gentile e veloce lo staff. I piatti indicati sulla "carta" sono sia in Greco sia in Inglese. Ah importante il "souvlaki" è indicato come "spiedino" in Inglese. I prezzi sono nella norma Greca, qundi molto buoni. You will not find the sign "Old Market" but "Παλιά αγορά" which is the Greek translation. Very frequented by tourists, it is perhaps the restaurant with more outdoor tables. Good and varied cuisine, a menu of local dishes, with very large portions. Friendly and quick staff. The dishes indicated on the "card" are both in Greek and in English. Ah important the "souvlaki" is referred to as "skewer" in English. Prices are in the Greek standard, so they are very good. Δεν θα βρείτε το σήμα "Old Market" αλλά το "Παλιά αγορά" που είναι η ελληνική μετάφραση. Πολύ συχνές από τους τουρίστες, είναι ίσως το εστιατόριο με περισσότερα υπαίθρια τραπέζια. Καλή και ποικίλη κουζίνα, μενού από τοπικά πιάτα, με πολύ μεγάλες μερίδες. Φιλικό και γρήγορο προσωπικό. Τα πιάτα που αναγράφονται στην "κάρτα" είναι στα ελληνικά και στα αγγλικά. Ας σημαντικό το "σουβλάκι" αναφέρεται ως "σουβλάκι" στα αγγλικά. Οι τιμές είναι στο ελληνικό πρότυπο, επομένως είναι πολύ καλές. Visited on a Sunday evening without reservation. We were lucky to find a table so a reservation is suggested. It's a place with a very nice aesthetic, I really liked it. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes. The fried cheese was good, the mushrooms with cheese mix were great! The main dishes were pork fillet and beef burger stuffed with cheese.
