Athenolia Winebar - Restaurant Kyparissia — Restaurant in Municipality of Trifylia

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Athenolia restaurant. It was everything we could have hoped for from start to finish.

The food was excellent with some innovative choices such as the carpaccio of sea bass served on what seemed to be and ultra fine poppadom.

Add to this the fantastic roof top location perfectly positioned for the wonderful sunsets. Plus of course, great service from knowledgable and enthusiastic team.

The choice of wine was pretty good too, again with well informed suggestions from the wine waiter and my red was served at the perfect temperature.

A truly beautiful spot with a glamorous rooftop and a welcoming atmosphere. You can choose between a boutique-style dinner or relax at the elegant wine bar. The panoramic view over Kyparissia and the castle is absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunset and in the evening.

The food was outstanding (see photos), and each dish was presented with care. For every selection, there are several options, and the staff are both friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend the best choice to suit your taste—whether food or drinks.

Athenolia Wine Bar is a truly special place — the rooftop setting offers breathtaking views of Kyparissia, the mountains, and the castle, especially at sunset or under the moonlight. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing, with soft lighting and the soothing scent of lavender in the air. Their signature lavender drink is a must-try — refreshing, beautifully served, and perfectly matching the mood of the place.
