We booked for a week at Kyparissia Blue and wish we could have stayed for two! A delightful find. A small family run concern just outside the town right in the beach with its own good sized pool and pretty gardens. Semi shaded parking, and plenty of it. |The rooms were fine - a little fridge and kettle; shower room adequate. Excellent tv (World Cup week!), and a great balcony for taking snack suppers + wine/Ouzo watching the amazing sunsets. Even saw loggerhead turtles from the balcony one evening! Cleaned every day and linen changed often.|The most amazing surprise were the breakfasts..... Fabulous! All freshly made with eggs different ways, fresh juice & endless coffee, fruits and salad, feta tarts, cakes, yoghurt & honey, and fabulous hot drop scones of batter. We didn't need lunches!!|I used the lovely pool each morning for a swim before breakfast - really clean: the whole place extremely well tended. The pretty meadow next door had a family of three goats in to watch from the balcony. Do visit the old town and castle whilst there; drive up for a good choice of traditional eateries in the evening - an even better sunset viewing point.|(The beach that the hotel sits behind had unfortunately been plagued with seaweed during the winter, so wasn't really useable... However while we were there it was cleared, and I did see a local couple swimming off it)|Very stylish quiet little bar (the Sunset Bar) right on the beach by...

Clean towels daily when room cleaned. Ask for pool towels at the bar when required. Pool is delightful and beach just across the road/lane (more of a lane as quiet and dead end). Beach was cleared of seaweed etc at end of June and then fine, although loads of better beaches very near. Bar serves breakfast and then drinks and ice cream until about 8pm. Think they might do some light snacks too but no menu around. Decent fridge in room and plenty of supermarkets in area - you do need a car, really. Taxi to old town where best restaurants are costs 5 Euros - not far but very steep to walk. Usually very peaceful indeed but suppose that depends on who is staying but most people seemed to appreciate the quiet - walls are thin though so a noisy neighbour can be heard. Fortunately we only noticed this once or twice in a fortnight and the overall atmosphere was calm, listening to the waves and cicadas and watching the goats in the flower -filled field next to the property. Great holiday location for people in need of...
