Lovely beach bar on the beach. Excellent and friendly service from George and Vassilis. Really good choice of music. A good variety of food on the menu. The umbrella sun lounger set is 10€. Until recently most places in Kalamata did not charge for umbrellas and loungers unlike other places in Greece, but this has and will change as more places start charging. Prices are normal for Greece. One of the few bars that respect the legal requirements for beach occupation so kudos to the owner. Good idea to reserve the sun loungers on a Sunday. Some people might find the noise of the cars and trucks that turn at the corner and stop to use the mini market annoying, but hey this is a real village where people live and work. Restaurant looks nice but our food took much longer than an hour to come out. There was only one other party before us, there was us as a party of four and another party of four in the whole restaurant. Two of the meals arrived an hour after we ordered, and these were eaten by the time the other two meals arrived. I did not finish mine as we had waited so long to eat and it was not nice. Bread was added to the bill as extra and the bill was handed to us before we had even been brought any food. Food was delicious and owner is active in ensuring guest are happy. Staff on Sunday morning, which I think were owners sons or nephews were terrible. They did not appear to want to be there, where unhelpful and gave our meals to the same wrong table twice. The first time said table said they did not order and he gave it to them anyway.
