Tourist Trap!!!!!!! RIP OFF WAY too EXPENSIVE

Unfortunately this was the culinary lowlight of our stay in Greece. Pizza seemed like it might as well have been frozen. And 12€ for that is nothing but a nasty rip-off. Although we gave a tip we got no thankyou from the staff. We will never go there again. I recommend you go to the Greek taverna up the road. Much better!!!!

I very much mentioned in my review what we ate Pizza, what I didn't mention was Souvlaki. The fact of the matter is: 12€ for a medium sized Pizza is very expensive. No thank you for a tip is unacceptable. And YOU ONLY SERVE TOURISTS AND CHARGE THEM LOTS MORE MONEY THAN THE TYPICAL GREEK PRICE FOR SIMILAR QUALITY. This is the definition of overcharging tourist. Compared with the Taverna up the road your prices are much higher and quality of food is worse in my opinion.

DO NOT GO TO IL GUSTO unless you are a tourist who likes to pay too much for mediocre quality. Like so many do! Unfortunately.

To Il Gusto : my Advice: improve your quality of Food and service to make it outstanding or charge an adequate amount for the food. The way it is now: expect more bad reviews from guests...

We had the tomato salad and a Special Pizza. The tomato salad was made with fresh ripe tomatoes and strong thinly sliced red onion. It was delicious.

The chocolate brownie that was offered at the end of our meal was very tasty and a very nice touch on the part of the owner.

The special pizza was however a disappointment given the very delicious but extremely limited amount of topping that made it more dough than pizza. It is for this reason that we give this place a 3*.

It is possible that their local traditional dishes are more a specialty of this restaurant but we were in the mood for pizza from a pizzeria and this was the only...

Well, you will search for something special to eat in Kalamata, there are a lot of options to be true, but few deserve to be on the top list. IL GUSTO is one of these places. Right next to the sea, you can literally swim next to your table. The dishes were very fresh and the taste was home made, something like you have made is, fresh, tasty with the best ingredients. That's why is always full of people! Nice addition is the delivery where you can enjoy all the dishes from the convenience of your house. Has a parking space in front of the restaurant which is absolutely required in order to park your car. Totally...
