My friend and I were having the time of our lives in Greece, soaking up the sun, enjoying the beautiful seaside, and eagerly anticipating a delicious meal at what appeared to be a charming little restaurant by the water. Little did we know, we were about to fall victim to the most outrageous seafood scam of all time.

The ambiance was good, waves gently lapping at the shore, the sun setting in a blaze of orange and pink, and the smell of grilled fish drifting through the air. We settled in, excited for a culinary adventure. The waiter recommended the “fresh catch of the day.” We naively nodded, imagining a bountiful feast. What arrived on our plate looked like it had been lifted straight from a children’s aquarium. Then came the bill, 96 euros for that fish, this tiny aquatic creature had somehow managed to be worth its weight in gold....

Very upset! We came together. There were few people in the restaurant (4 pm). We took a table for 6 people, as we wanted to sit and look at the sea. The waitress did not cover the table with a tablecloth completely, but only half. She did not bring a glass for beer (probably not customary there). A little later, the guys at the next table, who ordered beer, also did not get glasses. The bread was dry. The Greek salad was good, but with sour olives. The eggplant salad had too much mayonnaise. The glass for water smelled of fish. The red mullet was delicious. But the biggest problem was the Too many fruit flies! If you want a good experience for everything but food, this is the place for you. The service is great, the location is perfect, and the food is there..... I can't confidently recommend a single dish from this restaurant and the pricing is even worse. 60 euros per kilo is some of the most egregious pricing I have seen in all of Greece and all they do is grill the fish. This restaurant genuinely forgot what seasoning was. None of the tastes have a single unique flavor profile. Given the environment, this has to be the most disappointed I have been in a restaurant ever. Do not believe the reviews in the slightest. You will get scammed in fresh sea breeze and broad daylight.
