Giorgos and Maria, the owners, welcomed us as if we were family. Warm, approachable, with a natural sense of humor and genuine care for each guest, they made us feel as though we had been friends for years.

We tried — and highly recommend — the following: – Mixed grill platter for two that will make you laugh at the idea of “for two” — we’re talking about a tray that could easily satisfy 5–6 people. Perfectly grilled pork belly, juicy chicken fillet, and rustic village sausage that will please even the most demanding meat lovers. – Crispy, fluffy zucchini fritters packed with fresh herbs that bring out the zucchini’s flavor — perhaps the best we’ve ever had. – Original salads with fresh vegetables and local Mani products. – Don’t miss the daily cooked dishes — every day something different, homemade, just like grandma would make in the village. The soutzoukakia in particular, with an aroma of the East, were incredibly tender and bursting with flavor.

The service was fast, the prices reasonable, and the overall experience… simply magical.

We had a wonderful experience at Tavern Mezedorbedemata. The food was delicious – we tried the chicken with fries and the sausages, both perfectly prepared.
