Elladikó — Restaurant in Municipality of Xylokastro and Evrostina

This is a very interesting story. We got there for late lunch. We order drinks and a guy came to take the order (his inflexible attitude and pose indicated that he was the owner of the business). I asked for a pasta with salmon, his reply. No, Prans or calamari. I asked for bacaliarakia instead. His reply, you can have gavros or sardines. I asked him to let me know what he didn't have. His reply, have an other choice and I will let you know if we have it or not. Finally, after four attempts we manage to order. The moral of the story is, if you go there, although the menu is extensive, you have to have what you are offered. Having said the above, I have to give credit when credit is due. The vlita was exelent, the mains were good, but the chips were reheated, hence dry...

We had lunch today and I couldn't not wait to put a review... I order fish barbounia the menu price was 10.50 euros I order a mousaka for 8.0 euros.. The fish I was told was very fresh brought in today (Was not fresh) mousakas was a joke made out of thick beshamel cream and Potatoes not able to find meat or egplant ..when we got the bill the price of the barbounia was 13.0 euros I told the waiter and he kind of mumble and said was little more fish I said the price on the menu was not by the kilo was a lot price he said I will send the manager I said bring me the menu and guess what the manager never or he brought me the menu... I had to write this review because I do not support the crooks.. So people be aware of what your bill is going to be when is time...

Well starting from the bad things. The (i guess) owner was really in bad mood. When we got there he was yelling to the staff for not really important reason. After that he came to us, when we asked about his opinion about the plates ,he remained silent, we asked again and he said "whatever you like". We ordered some stuff and when i asked if we put the blue-cheese sauce on the side he said: no i can only on the top...We were very upset but we stayed to see what's coming up. First the salad arrived, we ordered one with strawberries and a salad with Orange arrived. When we said that was not what we ordered he said that's it, again with a angry not friendly face... Anyways he brought the correct one and the rest of the plates.. 2,5 Stars for the plates 0...
