Ammos Beach Bar — Restaurant in Nestos Municipality

Spent 8 days here. On the 8th day we tried to order food. We wanted cheese pizza they said that the pizza is pre made and nothing can be customized. Basically all the food is frozen. When we tried to pay they told us we had to come to the bar to pay, even though everyone else could pay at the beach. After 8 days of rude service and broken system we decided to cancel our order. They came back and tried to force us to complete our 54€ order. We declined. The manager came and continued to try and force us. Told us the waiter is 15 years old and “pay the boy” or the government will charge him. We didnt want to proceed with the order and he kicked us out and told us to go somewhere else and never come back. So we went to “Paralia” near by. The prices are the same (if not cheaper) with better service. The chairs are new and comfortable unlike Ammos where the chairs are old dirty and falling apart. They also give you complimentary things when you order. Being “banned” from Ammos was the best thing to happen to us and our two small children as we found a way better place to relax on our vacation.

Ps. We ordered pizza at “Pizza Paradox” later that day and paid less while watching them flip the dough and hand make the pizza. Save your money from these scammers at Ammos, go literally anywhere else. Spend less money but have a...

The worst beach bar experience we’ve ever had in Greece.

Arrogant staff, painfully slow service, and low-quality food. The manager, Giannis, was completely unprofessional. We waited over an hour for our order, and when we asked about it, they acted as if we hadn’t ordered at all. Thankfully, I found the receipt and asked for a refund so we could leave this awful place — but instead, they forced us to take the food.

My baby waited 1.5 hours for a simple meal. When I asked to speak with the manager to give feedback, the staff ignored us, and Giannis didn’t even bother to come over.

We spent more than €150 and were ready to spend more — this was our first family holiday with the baby and friends, and they completely ruined it.

Do yourself a favor: don’t go there. If you care about good service, go to Coco or...

Terrible experience — avoid this beach bar at all costs.

The staff were rude and completely uninterested in serving customers. We waited nearly 1.5 hours for simple orders, and when we followed up, they claimed we hadn’t ordered anything! Only after we showed proof did they reluctantly bring the food.

When we were leaving, we finally managed to speak to the manager — it was very difficult to even find him. All he said was that the electricity had been off, but gave no proper explanation, and did nothing to make up for it. The staff never informed us about any issue.

The food quality was poor, and definitely not worth the price. We were hoping for a nice day with friends, and they completely ruined it.
