An unforgettable dining experience! Velissarios Tavern in Vrachos is an absolute gem! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — truly some of the best we've had in Greece. Every dish was delicious and came in generous portions.

The service was flawless — fast, kind, and attentive without being intrusive. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always smiling, which made us feel right at home.

Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. We left full, happy, and already planning to come back. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. A true taste of authentic Greek...

We’ve been a couple of times to Velissarios. And every time, we had at least 1 failed dish (fried zucchini, for instance, see the photo) but also some decent food. The place is not bad, they have a good atmosphere, good food (lamb chops, for instance), but you can find a few better places in the area. The owner is very friendly, the service is good, and prices are moderate. It’s a good compromise if you are in the area, but it will not be the best greek food...

Whenever we are in Vrahos, Velisarios Tavern is our favorite place where we can eat delicious fish. We have tried many dishes from the menu, but when we are already a few meters from the shore, fish is our most frequent choice.
