Haris Apartments — Hotel in Parga Municipality

We stayed there in 2018 and we liked it so much, that we decided to come again in 2020, although we never stayed at a location twice. Greece is about traveling in a new destination.|We made some SERIOUS efforts to come (tests twice and torturing the children, the fear of COVID, the financial effort in pandemic times and so on...).|We were 3 families of well educated, good status people with 4 children (3 of 9 and 1 of 5 years old). |The owner treaded us worse than everyone I knew in my intire life!!! |Wen we arrived, we asked superior rooms, because we stayed there in 2018 and we wanted at least the same conditions. They did not have 3 superior rooms, so we accepted 2 and to change when avaliable, at the owner's suggestion. After a day she was so angry with us, although she suggested the change, that she had a crisis and yelled at us horribly. Later she apologized, saying that she does not have customers and the business is poor this year. |We wanted to leave, but we did not find something in such short time...|A few days later our children went to one room to take something and they remained a bit in the room and started to play, jumping in the bed and laughing. Just a few minutes... and we found them barefooted on the hot cement in front of the hotel scared and crying... the owner took them by force from the room, screaming and pulling them from their clothes on the stairs three levels... We wanted to call the Police or Child Protection Services, but... I don't know what could we do, but ruin all our vacation after all our efforts to get there... After a day she came and apologized again, kissing the children... God!!! Never again have I lived such horror!!! We left everyday to a new location and just came at the hotel to sleep, not to meet with her!!! She ruined us all the 12 days of a so desired...

great place, unfriendly owner. wonderful location, staff is very helpful, the newly renovated room had a fantastic view and the breakfast is absolutely ok. but: we wanted to cook for ourselves and our baby. in the so-called kitchenette we could not find any pots or pans! upon request we were told that the kitchen is “not meant for cooking! everybody can see it's not for cooking!“ why did they put a hotplate there then?? “cooking is not allowed!“ excuse me? “tell me, what you want to cook there, what?“ in the end, we bought some pots at the nearby supermarket and cooked simple meals. the unfriendly owner did not greet us during the following days or pretended not to see us. we had a great time anyway but will not return...
