Antisamos Beach Bar — Restaurant in Sami Municipality

🌴Antisamos Beach on Kefalonia is absolutely stunning — the water is unreal, so clear and blue, it almost doesn’t feel real. If you love snorkeling, this place is a dream. Even in the shallow areas, you’ll spot fish and underwater beauty right away.🌸

There are plenty of cafes and beach bars, with all kinds of food and drinks, from quick snacks to full meals. Personally, it gets a bit too crowded for my taste, but if you walk toward the far end of the beach, there’s a quieter spot — perfect for people who enjoy peace and nature.🌴😍

💫One thing to keep in mind: there are quite a few wasps around. Be careful when sitting, eating, or drinking. If you’re allergic, either choose another beach or make sure to bring allergy meds with you — just in case.💫

All in all, Antisamos really has something for everyone. A must-see if you're visiting...

The beach is ok, but not the best in Kefalonia. Beware, the place is full of WASPS, one of us got stung!!! They are everywhere, at the restaurant, on the beach...

To avoid attacks from wasps, we left a bag of food away from the sunbeds. We informed the staff about this. Sometime later, the bag disappeared - we were informed it was "probably" thrown in the trash. We wanted to recover a tupperware from the bag: we found the bag in the trash, but empty. Someone had stollen our food, even the tupperware!!!

On the beach, you can hear the music of the bar next door, in addition to the one of this bar. We were told the shower is out of order, only to see someone else using it.

We were disappointed by this place and will certainly not return.

P.S. the sunbeds are more expensive than on other beaches, 15 € / 2 sunbeds...

Appalling service. I rinsed my toddler’s t-shirt in the WC sink (no sign saying it’s only for hands) and was shouted at by a staff member who told me “if you want to shower, use your own place.” I calmly asked her to treat me with respect, but she refused to apologize — and neither did the other two staff who witnessed it. The only decent thing was that they refunded me for the umbrellas, but the experience was still beyond rude, humiliating, and completely unprofessional. If this is how they treat paying guests, I’d strongly advise avoiding this place. Never...
