Pavlos — Restaurant in Skopelos Municipality

We came as a table of 11. They kept getting the orders wrong. For drinks - they kept bringing the wrong amount of drinks and then took so long to bring the correct order. Food was a whole other story. The food took 1.5 hours. We ordered 4 calamari’s. They brought 2 (not the correct kind) and then when we asked for the other 2 they said no we don’t have and you didn’t order (remember this is an hour and a half after we ordered). There were 3 pastas ordered. They forgot 2 and the only 1 they brought was wrong and was only brought after everyone ate and after we reminded them we ordered. There were no apologies from the staff or management of the restaurant. If the restaurant is busy I highly recommend avoiding this place because they clearly can’t handle pressure. A beautiful little taverna set between a couple of other restaurants in the small port of Agnontas. Family run business with really friendly staff/owners. It has a truly wonderful view of the small port so you can watch ferries dropping off and picking up people from the island. I’d recommend coming at sunset time as the views are utterly stunning. I had a lovely light meal and I asked for half portions as I wasn’t hugely hungry and they very kindly accommodated me with no fuss whatsoever which was great. I had a simple but tasty Greek salad, some whitebait fried and some really tasty Taramasalata. Thoroughly recommend...

Poor. There were 6 of us and we were all very disappointed with the service and the food in general. The food is below Greek standards, looks bad and does not taste good. It did not deserve to come into the picture.

The only passable meze was grilled feta. The fish dish was also ok and the chips were homemade but too oily. The souvlaki was undercooked, the meat was old and tough. What to say more as that the bill was quite high too.

Considering that it is a fish restaurant, one can understand that the fish was OK, but everything else was a disaster. But then the restaurant should not serve anything else...
