A Hidden Gem in Skopelos – Rosemary Restaurant
Our family of four stumbled upon Rosemary during our stay in Skopelos, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we stepped onto the covered patio, we were taken in by the calm and inviting atmosphere. A jasmine trellis arches gracefully over the dining area, infusing the air with a soft, natural aroma—never overpowering, just the perfect touch of elegance and serenity.
For dinner, we each tried something different and every dish hit the mark. My wife had the falafel, which she said was some of the best she’s ever had. The kids ordered burgers and devoured them without a single complaint (a small miracle). I went for the beef in red sauce—perfectly cooked and seasoned. The standout, though, was the hummus: incredibly fresh, smooth, and possibly the best we’ve ever had. Prices were more than reasonable, especially given the quality of both food and setting.
Background music—a mix of soft jazz and classics—set the tone for a peaceful, unrushed evening. We never had to raise our voices to talk, which only added to the charm. The service was equally outstanding, led by the ever-attentive and warm Katia (aka “Super Cat”), who made us feel like honored guests.
We were so impressed that we came back the next morning for breakfast—and if it’s possible, the experience was even better. The omelets were fluffy and flavorful, the croissants fresh, and the coffee—whether latte, cappuccino, or espresso—was top-tier.
Rosemary is a rare blend of authentic flavor, welcoming atmosphere, and heartfelt service. If you’re in Skopelos, don’t...
