Anemomulos — Restaurant in Skyros Municipality

It's hard not to like this place just for the incredible location and scenery. Especially during a calm sunset, this place is wildly beautiful.

Unfortunately, the food options are severely limited, and the quality of food is rather low, especially compared to other restaurants on the island. I had the chicken filet, which was pretty chewy and bland, with a side of barely salted potatoes and the blandest "mayonnaise" i ever tasted. No zaziki, no standard starter plates — it's really more of a bar than a restaurant.

The bar menu has a few interesting cocktail options, but a lack of classics and fine alcohol.

Great sea view, especially during sunset and a place pretty strange for earth. It looks like an ancient, abandoned port, just right the Anemomylos restaurant. Quite different landscape to the rest of the island and two small island-rocks, where you could go swimming (if you are good in this, because of the, some kind, wild waves). The “alcoholic” drinks had literally no alcohol at all. We tried a daiquiri, a Paloma and a mojito and they were probably the worst I’ve ever had. More like kids’ juice. The price was of course the same as in most of Greece nowadays, around 10-12€. I tried to tell the bartender but he insisted they always use a certain amount of alcohol in all their drinks.
