Panorama Tavern — Restaurant in Souli Municipality

What a way to finish an awesome day at the Springs! It was a last minute decision to stop at this tavern for food before heading back to the coast and boy are we glad we did. Nestled on the banks of the Acheron springs with an incredible backdrop and just as good food!

Our table of 8, were not a problem at all for this family run business. We had souvlaki, panseta, Greek salad, Dakos and the best hand cut chips we’ve ever had. Topped off by the best rose wine. So good that we had to buy a bottle to take home!

The amazing New York cheesecake given to us as a thank you at the end topped off an awesome meal. The kids swam in the stream while we sat and sipped our wine. The backdrop is truly beautiful.

We chatted with the family upon leaving and they were lovely. I highly recommend you stop here after visiting the springs. The entire day was magical and it was topped off with a wonderful traditional Greek meal....

Without a doubt the best restaurant we visited during a week long stay in Epirus. We were the only guests at dinner time but all dishes from the menu were available. The restaurant has been run for three generations by one family. We were served by a very nice young man, very nice, talkative, he told us many interesting stories. He was also very helpful in choosing dishes. The food was delicious, the fresh barracuda just melted in your mouth, not to mention the delicious appetizers. Plus a free dessert from the co-owner's mother. what shocked us the most was the price. For a very rich dinner with wine, we paid about half as much as in taverns by the sea, several kilometers away. The food is great and especially the starters we had - galotyri, vlita and mixed grilled veg, were a clear 10/10. And so were the pork chops and beef steaks. The location is fantastic with the restaurant literally being on the Acheron river bank. What made the difference to us was the exceptional reception by our server - Matina was her name, I think. She was helpful, friendly, witty, fun and improved the experience further - it is amazing how positivity passes on from people to people. The only negative thing I could say is that the restaurant building could do with a little more work. You do not dine in, so it does not really matter, but the toilets and kitchens look a bit dilapidated and...
