I had the pleasure of dining at a charming restaurant near the sea in the picturesque village of Potistika, located in Pelion, Magnesia. The location itself was absolutely breathtaking, perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea. The stunning views alone would make this a memorable dining experience.

The food at this restaurant was undeniably remarkable. It catered well to those with a refined and elegant palate. The dishes were a blend of Mediterranean flavors with delightful French influences. For those who appreciate a sophisticated culinary journey, this is the place to be.

What made the experience even more enchanting was the subtle backdrop of Bosa Nova Jazz music, which added a special touch and heightened the overall ambiance.

This restaurant truly exudes a positive energy that one would associate with its oceanfront setting. The whole atmosphere was a testament to the care and thought put into creating a memorable dining environment.

It’s worth noting that this restaurant might not be the right fit for those who don’t value a nice atmosphere and quality food. For those seeking a unique and elevated dining experience, this is a must-visit. However, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option (around 15€ per person), this might not be the ideal choice.

In essence, this restaurant could easily be mistaken for a hidden gem in Sardinia, a sophisticated spot in Cannes, or a charming establishment in Sfinos. I left the restaurant with a satisfied palate and a heart full of the beauty...

Climax: a true gem by the sea.

First of all, Climax is located in an absolutely ideal spot. After spending an hour under the blazing sun and swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Potistika Beach, we took the uphill road leading to this charming and cozy restaurant, which sits amphitheatrically above the bay.

At the entrance, we were warmly welcomed by two lovely and smiling ladies who led us to our reserved table — which, by the way, had a truly breathtaking view. Even though the temperature outside was well over 36°C, the shaded outdoor area felt pleasantly cool, with a fresh sea breeze gently mixing with the ceiling fans. The décor was très chic — a seamless blend of French and Greek flair.

The music was great, and the menu had just the right number of options, catering to every taste. The prices might seem a bit “steep” to some, but if you consider the fact that this oasis of freshness is literally in the middle of nowhere, that it serves fine dining dishes, and that everything is freshly cooked and delicious, then the prices actually make perfect sense.

The Greek salad we ordered was mouthwatering, with fresh seasonal vegetables bursting with aroma — and we especially loved the addition of capers. We also had two servings of farfalle with chicken, cream sauce, and mushrooms… PURE DREAM. We sipped on perfectly crafted margaritas, too.

What truly impressed us was the attention to detail from the staff — everything was spotless, and the service came with a constant warm smile. OK, the food took a little while to come out, but honestly… it was the PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO RELAX. Why should we always be in a rush anyway? The music, the setting, the vibe… everything was relaxing and welcoming.

We left extremely satisfied and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

After reading some previous reviews, I was honestly shocked by the number of people who wrote negative comments. Seriously… I don’t know what’s up with you guys…? Maybe consider some self-reflection — because restaurant reviewing clearly isn’t your thing. Nor, apparently, is appreciating something truly beautiful and special. 😉

Το Climax πρώτα απ' όλα βρίσκεται σε άψογη τοποθεσία. Μετά από 1 ώρα κάτω από τον καυτό ήλιο και τα κρυστάλλινα νερά στην Παραλία των Ποτιστικών, πήραμε τον ανηφορικό δρόμο προς αυτό το υπέροχο cozy εστιατόριο που κοιτάει αμφιθεατρικά την παραλία των Ποτιστικών.

Στην είσοδο μας υποδέχτηκαν 2 όμορφες και πολύ φιλικές, χαμογελαστές δεσποινίδες που μας οδήγησαν στο ρεζερβέ τραπέζι μας το οποίο είχε πραγματικά υπέροχη θέα, ενώ παρόλο που έξω είχε πάνω από 36c, στον εξωτερικό σκιασμένο χώρο του εστιατορίου η αίσθηση ήταν πολύ ευχάριστη καθώς αναμειγνυόταν η δροσερή αύρα της θάλασσας με τους ανεμιστήρες οροφής. Η διακόσμηση tres chic ... άλλωστε εναρμονίζονται εδώ οι κουλτούρες Γαλλίας και Ελλάδας.

Η μουσική υπέροχη, το μενού τόσο όσο με επιλογές για όλα τα γούστα. Οι τιμές για κάποιους μπορεί να φαίνονται κάπως "τσουχτερές", αν αναλογιστεί όμως κάποιος ότι αυτή η όαση δροσιάς βρίσκεται σχεδόν στη μέση του πουθενά, ότι σερβίρει fine dining πιάτα, και ότι τα πάντα είναι φρεσκομαγειρεμένα και πεντανόστιμα, τότε θα συνειδητοποιήσει ότι οι τιμές είναι άκρως λογικές.

Η χωριάτικη που πήραμε ήταν λαχταριστή και τα φρέσκα λαχανικά εποχής ευωδίαζαν πραγματικά, ενώ λατρέψαμε και το γεγονός ότι στη σαλάτα υπήρχε κάππαρη. Παραγγείλαμε 2 φαρφάλες με κοτόπουλο κρεμ σάλτσα και μανιτάρια... ΟΝΕΙΡΟ ! Ήπιαμε και Μαργαρίτες, οι οποίες ήταν ολόσωστα φτιαγμένες. Μεγάλη εντύπωση μας έκανε το γεγονός το πόση έμφαση δινόταν από το προσωπικό και στην παραμικρή λεπτομέρεια, στην καθαριότητα, ενώ δεν έλειπε ποτέ και το ζεστό χαμόγελο. ΟΚ, τα πιάτα μπορεί ν' αργήσαν λίγο, αλλά... η ΤΈΛΕΙΑ ΕΥΚΑΙΡΙΑ ΓΙΑ ΧΑΛΑΡΩΣΗ.... γιατί να πρέπει να βιαζόμαστε σε όλα...; Η μουσική, το τοπίο, το vibe... relaxing n' welcoming... φύγαμε εξαιρετικά ικανοποιημένοι και ΤΟ ΣΥΝΙΣΤΟΥΜΕ...
