Kostas place was recommended to us by multiple people in Pelion and after trying it we definitely understand why, and why it’s rating is so high.

It all starts with the spectacular service of the team, the entire crew at To Karnagio is so warm, hospitable and very competent - they make you feel at home.

The food cooked by Kostas’s mother is incredible and super fresh and delicious. You can have a look at the daily catch and select what fresh fish or sea food you would like and how you want it cooked. The fish in the taverna is all caught by local fishermen and is not farm fish.

The prices for the quality of the food are super reasonable.

After trying the restaurant once during our first day in Agia Kiryaki, we didn’t even try any other restaurant - that’s how good it is.

Cannot recommend enough and very much looking forward to the next...

First of all, the taverna is set in an idyllic little harbour, with narrow streets. The very friendly host, Kostas, welcomes his guests with a big smile and a way of presenting the menu that leaves your mouth watering. Last time we ordered the catch of the day and Kostas father took it on the steel table on the shore to prepare it. That was a spectacle by itself, with all the cats surrounding him, waiting for their treat. The food is fresh and delicious and the service is very attentive. I highly recommend the place for the whole experience, for the laid back feeling you get, the real greek way. We went there for lunch and lingered until late in the afternoon, watching Kostas help the arriving boats to moor, welcoming and serving his guests, or simply enjoying the view...

Amazing service! The guy suggested how to start our launch and what to eat for main dish. After few hours of sailing, this was priceless for us - not to think about choices and just to enjoy the food which was amazing also! Everything was served on timely manner, or maybe quicker. One more thing I like here is that whole family is working here. If there is an option to put 5+, I would do that definitely.

11.7.2025. The service is still amazing! Kostas has welcomed us very friendly, suggested what to eat, what saves us time of choosing and agreeing between ourselves.
