One of the best spots to sit for a quick snack ice cream, of course. Just bear with me: it’s not a restaurant or a taverna. I’d classify it as a café, in the most generous sense of the word.
What I love is that it doesn’t feel like a tourist trap. It feels like a place that would survive year-round, with its own loyal clientele and a steady energy very much like those mid-90s cafés in central Athens that survived the financial crisis and somehow made it to the next day. A stable joint!
If you’re the kind of person who likes to carry around a sketchbook and pencil case while watching the sunset or if you prefer to sit, pensive, with a good book. I’d recommend going either early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Otherwise, you’ll find the place flooded with kids and baby strollers.
