Upon arrival you will see a large fence where it is not possible to watch the sunset. You can join the queue, then you go through some kind of lock where you are obliged to buy a consumption before you can go through it. On the other hand, there is some kind of security. When you say something about this, the owners change from gentle people to fierce / aggressive people who do everything to get you out of there. They threaten to call the tourist police and send their so-called security to you, in the meantime that they are busy with this you will be blamed for all kind on things. We experienced this twice in one evening. After we, too, were sent away and left the site, a young boy walked with dogs to keep an eye on us. Before they were here it must have been a very nice place, there is now an annoying atmosphere and you know you will be ripped off. I personally do not recommend it to anyone. There are many beautiful places where you can see the sunset perfectly.
Read moreVery unfriendly and unpleasant staff! Asked a simple question about how to get to see the light house as shown on the maps as everything was blocked off by high fences covering any kind of view. I was told it is a private café for only customers (what would I be if not a customer!?) and pointed somewhere for the lighthouse. I asked a couple who was leaving the place if they thought it was worth it to go in and deal with the grumpy staff and they said only for the view yes but a massive rip off otherwise. I took my grandma in after them being so rude to me only because she struggles to walk nowadays so I didn't want to drag her any further with no result. We were told to buy a drink as an entry fee, okay. I took one bottle and was rudely told I have to buy 2 as we are 2 of us. I did it and paid €8 for 2 little bottles of iced tea. Would never return, view is nice but the people who run this place have got a really bad attitude. I have never come across so badly...

A Greek young man entered on foot by opening the gate after he stood shouting to the man to see if it was open the owner completely ignored the young chap and when he entered he sent his dogs after him nearly biting him and the owner shown him out. Absolute rude despicable individual.
