Sunset Restaurant and Beach Bar Porto Roxa — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

What an amazing location! Even the road leading to this place is worth doing! Imagine rocky cliff side meets blue waters meets 🛌. We arrived at 09:30 am and were greeted by a friendly staff. We payed 25 euros for a sun-bed near the water. Prices were moderate and you could order food to be brought to your bed. To go in the water you have a wooden board, it’s safe but don’t forget to wear your eater shoes because there are rocks when you get in the water. When it comes to the food you will not be disappointed. You know it will be good when you see a lovely grandma cooking in the kitchen. We stayed all day either in the beautiful blue waters or in bed. To be honest it was the free sunbeds sign for us. We laid down and it was so nice. We've already been to the beach by that time; that was great too, not so crowded, vibe was great because of the diving board. Back to the bar. Sunbeds were comfy, well covered from the sun. I had been starving for a carbonara all week and I was surprised it was 3 euros cheaper than other in places. We asked the waiter named Alex if the portion is enough. He said yes. He was right. It was delicious. The place is nice, the vibe is nice. Also good for families. We were there at 3-5 pm and there were still free sunbeds. The view is amazing and the sunbeds comfortable. However, we didn’t plan to sit here initially, we were just looking for a place to park our car and accidentally parked in the tavern’s parking lot. The waitress told us that we can stay here if we order something. We asked if we could go further and if there’s another parking lot. She told us she doesn’t know, so we decided to have a drink. Later, we found out that there is, of course, another parking lot directly at Porto Roxa just a few meters down. Honi soit qui mal y pense... the price we got charged for a beer and a fredo cappuccino was more than indicated in the menu and my fiancé’s Fredo wasn’t...
