The Garden of Tastes agios Leon — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

Nice and chill waiters, excellent food and survice. The portions are even bigger than the pictures on the menu. Some animals like a little pony, tortoises, bunnies and little parrots are there. It was and is a nice experience for the whole family. They got some attractions for children (swing, trampoline,...). It is a very cozy place and feels like an old school Greek taverna run by a family and friends with a beautiful fountain. I definitely recommend to eat there. There are even different kinds of sitting options. The kitchen is open so you can stalk the cooks while they are cooking. The taverna serves very good selfmade smoothies and the only recommendation would be to serve cocktails. One of those gems you stumble on when touring the island in your rental car. Awed by the beauty of the surroundings we where driving through, our senses got tingled by warm winds, the smell of wild growing herbs and sound of cicades in the olive trees. We have been in The Garden of tastes three times and it is not the final number during our stay at Zakynthos :) Food is great, always fresh and tasty and quickly prepared. We do appreciate very kind and helpful staff even though we became pampered by provided sweet desserts as a surprise :) Also offered local wine in The Garden of tastes surprised us pleasantly.
