My family, a group of 15 including four children went to eat at Antigua Boreal on Tuesday April 16, 2019. The pizza is average for the cost. The real issue I have with this place however is the lack of allergen information on the menu. My son is highly allergic to peanuts and after consuming horchata at this restaurant he had vouts of diarrhea and a rash all over his body. I carry his epinephrine when we are travelling and Benadryl which thankfully was enough to keep him from anaphylaxis. I contacted the restaurant over email to inform them of the reaction, inquire if the horchata had nuts or if it had been cross contamination, and to provide the information from the Mayo Clinic in Spanish regarding nut alergies. To this day I still did not hear from them so I have decided to post online to make future visitors aware. In my son's 12 years of life and 10 visits to Guatemala, he always looks forward to having horchata. This was the first time he ever had a reaction. He didn't eat any of the food at Antigua Boreal so the only culprit was the horchata. He had horchata at La Fonda, Casa Santo Domingo, Camino Real without any problems....

We order 2 pizass and it was delicious until, we found a hair on one of them a long hair, I called the manager such was a woman and can't remember her name told me that she was sorry and go said can you please just replace the 4 pieces that are cover with the long hair, she said, I am sorry but since we are on an open space a hair can fly and end up on the pizza, I can't replace you the 4 pieces, I can give you coffee and tres leches cake. I said, I am not asking you for a free pizza, all,I want is to get it replace not a free pizza. She said I am sorry but I can't. So I said that's fine don't do it your customer services its horrible and you really don't care. So for any customer that visits this place just keep in mind that if something happens the manager is not going to help you. So keep that in mind it will be a bad experiences . so I am not recommending this place go...
Read moreHORRIBLE SUPERVISOR! Worst experience with the gentleman who is unfortunately the worst supervisor I've ever had to deal with. I had a clavo which was about a half inch nail within the first five bites of the pizza. The first 4 bites were great. After speaking with the waiter he told his boss and they offered to give me a free dessert. If one reads all the different reviews I put up, just because something goes wrong doesn't mean I ask for something to make up for it. On the contrary I let it all play out to see how well it's handled. I spoke with the supervisor who was super rude and didn't care that anything happened. I lost my appetite. At the end he said he also took off the waiters tip that was on the bill! It wasn't the poor guys fault. So I asked the waiter what it was supposed to be and paid him double the amount. Unprofessionalism from a supervisor at its finest. Besides that they have a cool slide and some things to take...
