this place is my childhood i hate every else on the island exepct crabby jacks. crabby jacks is the most beautiful place in the world i would live here if i could. It's a large roomy establishment, indoor & outdoor dining ( outside is on two levels). Disappointed not to find more seafood choices on the menu. Starters were deep-fried Calamari, very good portion size with elements of a salad all served in a large metal jug. The accompanying sauce was delicious. Tempura fried tiger prawns followed.Stir fried vegetables as an accompaniment,a very tasty combination. The batter was a little heavy, the quality of the prawns is excellent. Dessert to follow...vanilla ice cream -outstanding ( probably locally made), the meringue was so ,so; Its base was quite nice presented stylishly with a cherry coloured sauce. An unintended visit, we breezed on down to Crabby’s to waste a little time before DS’s flight back to UK. I must compliment whoever devised the menu - as there is definitely something for everyone catered for here! I decided on a margarita pizza and it was huge - really tasty - and I had a goodly amount packed up in a takeaway box for later on. My husband had whale and chips….. well - it looked like that! Again a massive portion of chips and peas along with two fillets of cod. He said that the batter was very light and crispy. DS had rack of ribs served with a jacket potato. He wasn’t that enthralled - they were a little tasteless TBH but this didn’t take away from the whole experience and would not put us off coming back.
