Nineteen Bar and Grill is part of the 19 Golf Centre. The food is typical of a good Guernsey restaurant, serving a wide selection of steaks, fish, posh burgers, pasta, homemade pizza etc along with specials which often show some invention with unique flavours to give it a twist. The menu is likely to have something for everyone. The food is not cheap but it is good quality so worth the money. There are some cheaper, more simple items on the menu for those on a budget such as the small pizzas (which are not really small, just not huge). Prices have recently increased so a main meal starts around £15 and the steaks start around £28. Nineteen is one of my top choices if I want somewhere that does a good steak at fairly short notice. Always book but you are highly likely to get a table mid-week. Fridays and Saturdays will need to be booked at least a week in advance due to popularity. One of the benefits to Nineteen as a venue is the driving range joined onto it. There are outside heaters for when it is cold and you can take your drinks out from the bar so groups can take it turn to whack balls whilst socialising over a drink. Drinks are not cheap but prices are typical for a venue like this in Guernsey. The Pirate Bay Adventure golf below is ideal for families and...

Food is still good. The driving range is great. I am a member of the golf club, so this review in no way reflects on the golf facilities and staff. However the Bar and Grill staff are unfriendly, particularly the managers. We as a family went for an early meal on a Friday evening. Restaurant was fairly busy and granted we had not booked a table we were hitting balls in a bay. Completely ignored by waiting staff. I was ignored at the bar wanting to order dinner until I asked a manager. His reply was kitchen is too busy, we cant take any more orders. So why not take the order and we'll wait? Nope. A very distasteful experience. We left and got our meal elsewhere. It may be the case they are not unfriendly, but rather unhappy, which affects the entire atmosphere of what was a really nice experience.
