Victor Hugo Restaurant — Restaurant in St Peter Port

Had dinner in this 80's themed restaurant, decor definitely of the decade: very pink, no neon lighting and 80's classics played in the background as the soundtrack through the nostalgic menu. Cheese soufflé as a starter was divine, one of our party went full 80's with a prawn cocktail starter (which was also reported as being very good). We all had steak which was fantastic followed off by my first Baked Alaska for dessert (ice cream baked in meringue !). Had a lovely meal in the Victor Hugo restaurant while staying at St. Pierre Park on a recent business trip.

The food was excellent and when I wasn't particularly sure on whether I would like an aspect of a dish (the coffee glaze on the Jacob's Ladder), Richard, the Operations Manager, was more than happy to suggest some adaptions and then take that request to the chef.

I'll definitely eat here again on my next trip over...
