We felt , on visiting this year , that the food had gone downhill so we asked if the cafe had changed hands. Apparently not . We were surprised at the difference in quality. The last few years the crab sandwiches were perfect.... fresh hand cut bread , crab without too much sauce , and salad garnish. This year ..... sliced bread , far too much seafood sauce that masked the taste of the crab, no salad , and a few stale crisps . Hugely disappointing and far too expensive now that the quality has drastically gone downhill. We were embarrassed as we had praised this beach cafe to the hilt and could only apologise to the friends we took there . Has the chef changed ? Something has gone...

Amazing service and amazing food here! Best we had the whole trip! Also, the owners are amazing. We had a guest in our group with limited mobility who could not make the walk back. He was amazing and gave her a ride. I also had Guernsey pounds I needed to convert and he gave me UK pounds. So very grateful for the generosity and kindness found here. Also the steak sandwich was amazing, salads sooo good and fresh, and the desserts were divine. Coming back in September and this place will be on our itinerary at least twice! Also, the beach there is lovely if you catch good weather! Can't wait to...

A steep hill dives down this little valley, through trees hiding something beautiful. It might seem a long walk, but it's worth it. The view alone into this hidden cove is awesome. The little beach cafe may look innocent, but don't be fooled as it hides a wealth of gems. You could quite easily arrive and enjoy a brew of tea, or an ice cream. You could savour a gorgeous cake, but you'll also see at lunchtime it changes to an open air restaurant. The menu includes delights from steaks to scallops. The service is excellent and friendly, and you'll not be...

This cafe has one of the most idyllic locations. The food is pretty good but a little on the steep side for cost. I guess you pay for the view. Spent a few hours sipping a few Hugo Spritz and eating a very good prawn sandwich. Worth noting dogs aren't allowed on the beach during the summer months but are allowed in the outside green space of the cafe. It's a pretty steep walk back up the hill to the main road.

What a hidden gem is this place, to get there might feel like walking a maze. Totally worth it, I now understand the craze, come any time of the day to enjoy a slow life pace. If you are cold have a hot chocolate to warm up the soul, Or enjoy a glass of wine at the end of day’s stroll. Be careful on the way down you don’t want to roll, and on the way up, climb the cliff as your daily goal.

I went there a few years ago, then came back. It's a lovely place for a coffee! I ordered a homemade banoffeepie, delicious! I regret the crazy prices, but that's how it is everywhere in Guernsey! It's impossible to find a piece of cake for less than £5, it's crazy! Finally, one thing: I know it's not easy every day, but you always have to have a smile when serving customers.
