This poor rating is not for the food which was actually OK but the service and atmosphere is simply shocking in this excuse of a restaurant. We decided to celebrate our daughters 10th birthday there this evening and on arrival we asked for a window seat in an empty restaurant on a Tuesday evening. This was point blank refused by a less than happy waitress and instead we were confined to an out of sight and rather outdated and soulless back room by ourselves. It felt like a throwback to how customers used to be treated in the 1970s. If that wasn't bad enough on a special occasion, then not once did anybody come over to enquire how our meal was, whether we needed further drinks or for that matter whether we wanted dessert. Shockingly poor service and its not for the lack of waiters or waitresses. We decided to leave early and head over to Crabby Jacks for pudding where we managed to save some face with our daughter. I feel the one thing that lets the service down, is the amount of times that you get asked by different waitresses/ waiters “ are you ready to order” when we had only just sat down!
