La Placita D´ Susy — Restaurant in Francisco Morazán

My wife and I went to La Placita D'Susy along with my in-laws and their families. We were seated in a room on the second floor all to ourselves. Although it was evident that the room was unused, it was kept very tidy and clean. I was impressed. The view of the mountains was beautiful and very relaxing. We were a group of about 15 and although we only had one waitress, the service was quite good. We received very tasty appetizers made from tortilla chips with chicken in red sauce and cheese on top that I enjoyed very much. Since we were a large group we decided to order a group dish. Our meal consisted of four different meats brought to us on hot plates with hot coals underneath that kept the meat very warm for the duration of the meal. We each had a choice of two side dishes to go with the meat. And, of course, apart from that our choice of beverages. The food was very well prepared, seasoned, and cooked. The entire restaurant seems very well kept and very clean. The first floor is very nicely decorated in a typical motif and is very cozy, and comfortable. The is an area for children with all sorts of games. The entire atmosphere is very relaxing. Had high hopes of this restaurant but really dissapointed. Even thou the place is really nice, we waited 10 to 15 minutes to be greeted even thou the place was a bit empty. Waited almost an hour for the food and it was cold and meat was not as expected. Prices are on the high side that would be ok if the food quality was al the same level.

Very delightful place to visit. The service and food is great. The layout of the restaurant has about two levels and a good parking space. A very generous play area for very young children including treehouse. Very inviting experience off the bat. Very likely to visit frequently on Sunday afternoons.
