Tegus Food Truckers — Restaurant in Tegucigalpa

On a Sunday evening I visit this place for the first time, with a name like Food Truckers, I was expecting something different. I expected food trucks definitely; however, the place is like a big outdoor restaurant with a huge selection of different food trucks. The food varies from local asados, to local snacks, corn stand (this is not just corn is THE CORN place), Argentinean, Peruvian, Italian, ceviche, desserts, and much more! If you have a low budget you can find delicious food and if you get a little more fancy you can also find great food here. I didn't eat from every truck yet :) However, I want to give specific 5 stars to a truck that is not actually a truck but a boat “El Mero Mero” where they make all kinds of Ceviche from Honduran, to Peruvian and more as well as other delicious dishes like fry calamari, fish and shrimp! You can taste the freshness of the seafood as well as the creative use of all ingredients. There is plenty of parking, great for kids and families. Please notice that is outdoors you need to use insect repellent. Also, once you sit to eat you will have visitors such as bees and flies (daytime). They need to create recycling systems and add more garbage cans. The environment is casual, but ok if you are dress up just be careful if you are wearing high heels. I recommend this place...

It's like wondering into a different country by just walking a few paces. Every few meters you'll find a different flavor. Everything presented in a colorful and tasteful way. Tegus Food Truckers is made up of more than 18 food trucks all with different styles of appetizers and finger food. You'll also find more than 18 brands of beers as well as strong liqueur. I encourage you to visit and have a great time. There's also a kid zone so little ones...

Delicious food, so many options of different cuisines from around the world, many options for alcohol also. Sometimes there is live bands performing music while you eat which is a nice touch. Only downside is that it can get very busy and hard to find a parking spot and also hard to get av table or seat sometimes. Highly recommend the burrito joint in the back corner, owner is lovely,...
