Trattoria Prato — Restaurant in Budapest

This place was a gem two years ago when they opened, but as of right now it turned into disaster, they cut down on the antipasti plate, literally to six slices of prosciutto ham, no cheese none of the salami’s as it used to be or as it is at different places. When I inquired, I got an attitude loaded response about inflation and prices. What a joke. I don’t think we’re gonna visit that place again. They never have enough staff, and whoever serves has a smirky attitude, does not belong in the front line...

It is a nice place with a good service, unfortunately food is a big let down! We were a big table : Various dishes too dry , overcooked and tasteless ! Fantastic dinner on 21th june ! We tried different plates and from pasta to pizza to grilled salsicce toscane everything was delicious . Chef Fabrizio is a real master and rivals the best restaurants back home . Restaurant just opened so expect some details in the outside terrace still to be fixed .
