The hostel is located at the harbour. We stayed for two nights and were the only guests. This made it acceptable as a family, and we had a great time together.|The kitchen was ok for cooking etc and the living room to hang out.|We went fishing on a boat with a man named Siggi. He is the point of contact and a local guy who knows a lot about the village and the surrounding area. Fishing was fantastic in this very nice fjord. We caught a lot of big cod and a haddock. If you plan on going here then I recommend Siggi if you want to do something local. We loved staying here! The environment was very clean and quiet, and the hostel never felt crowded even with eight other people staying with us. Siggi was a welcoming host and a knowledgable guide for his guests. We actually came across Siggi when we were looking to go on a fishing trip. We advise anyone who loves to fish to go out with him because it was not only exciting, but also very rewarding. Within two hours, we caught around 20-25 fish! We really recommend this place to all travelers, either for a fishing trip, a nice stay, or even a mix of both.
