Kaffi Krókur — Restaurant in undefined

Due to young untrained or uninterested staff we had a very bad dinner experience: when ordering our main dishes I asked if I could have a small portion of the lamb soup from their menu as a starter… the waitress explained it is a small portion anyway. So I ordered it and fish’n chips as main. My husband ordered the pizza special. After short time my soup came, quite a big bowl (which was very tasty) with two slices of hard bread. I hardly ate half the portion when a different waitress brought my main dish… after I had finished half of this (fish should not be eaten cold, fish was having questionable shape to be fresh but probably frozen?) we asked for my husband’s pizza (in the restaurant were only two other tables with guests, all had finished their food long ago)… the waitress was astonished and stated something about the starter (which here colleague knew was not for him), and then something about problems with the dough - and after 15 more minutes (and a second request) they brought an obviously freezer dough base with random cheese and salami slices (which is a shame to be served in any restaurant, let alone after 30 minutes waiting)! As my husband was very hungry he tried to eat the pizza, but it was so bad that he stopped and nicked some of my fries instead… the staff was obviously incompetent and not interested in the customer. Bitter expierence, we arrives for dinner, ordered two main dishes, fish and chips and a pizza. We ordered aswell a soup as starter for my wife. The waiter bring the soup and when it was not even finished, she brings the fish and chips ( aswell for my wife), so I was expecting my pizza but after 10 min I asked and it looked they totally forgot. The waitress said it was a problem with the dough. After another fifteen minutes, the pizza came but my wife was already finished and the pizza was a frozen dough, I can tell the difference. The fish and chips were having more other stuff than fish… Total catastrophe, it is a pity because just some hours before we were there taking a coffee with I guess was the owner and was very lovelly and the capuchino was nice. We had the main plates of Arctic char and lamb. They were very expensive and not worth the price. Compared to all other Icelandic restaurants we have eaten lamb and fish this was our worst experience. The fish was not cooked well and the lamb was so heavy. We haven't tried the pizza but it looked good. They didn't have any soap in either toilets and I let the waitress know. She said her colleague was going to take care of it but her colleague never did. After 15 mins of waiting decided to leave the restaurant with buttery hands.
