If you wanna avoid turist traps, then this is the place for you. Excellent burgers that range from beef to reindeer. The best burger, without a doubt, is the duck burger. If it's on the menu when you are there, go for it. It is rarely on the menu because the chef needs to hunt them himself. The only thing missing in this restaurant is a sample platter to order because you are going to want to try all the burgers after trying just one. If you drive here, plenty of parking, the yellow horse (strætó) has a waiting station close by so you have no excuse to miss out on Iceland only wild game...

After our experience here I do understand why they got the best burger award. The burgers they offer are really unique and juicy and they have variety of meet options. After a long day of sightseeing this was just what we needed. My mac and cheese burger was amazing. Baked potato with cheese and onions as a side dish is a perfect match for it. Interior is really nice and staff is helpful and they greet you with a smile. I do not know what more you can possibly wish for. I do recommend to stop...
