I visited this branch of Il Pane Quotidiano because everyone said it is the biggest and the best. They do live up to the expectations, everything was freshly baked and smelled delicious. It was quite casual inside. It was a warm and sunny day in a mid winter morning, so the main door and some of the sliding windows were open to let the sunshine in. They also have an open outdoors area with enough tables and since there are no high buildings around you can soak up the sun all year round. (Just ignore the highway viaduct across the sky.) One drawback for me is that they are simply too far to go for a coffee, while I have at least 4 other branches in the walking distance from my apartment.
