As soon as you come in, some atmosphere is felt, but it kinda starts to fade away almost instantly. We were grated immediately by the staff, that is true, but we did feel like we weren't so welcomed. I AM NOT pretending to be treated kingly, but still, I came to eat and feel "good" maybe.... Let me explain myself a bit more, as someone who used to work in that industry for 10 years. There are so many ways you can greet someone, and some of them are including the fact that you're at least trying to hide your "displeasure" in having to greet/serve us. They kinda threw out the menus and simply went away. Nothing special. No racomandations, no suggestions. We ordered. The drinks came quickly, but the food took a while..a while longer. The restaurant was kinda empty, with maybe 3 tables (6-8ppl) already eating. Appetisers came first, followed quickly by the hamburgers. Two of us took the HalfPound burger (clearly not 400g as advertised, but hey, I didn't have a kitchen scale, so don't believe me). I was disappointed, honestly. I actually asked the staff to confirm me that it was "the correct" one, and they... after taking a deep look, said an unsure "YES." The meat was well done (no one asked us if we wanted it medium, perhaps, and we forgot to specify honestly, so we kept our mouth shut), and yet it was "coldish." The bacon was..shameful. Seemed like reheated twice (the girl that was with us even left it on the plate..). The same goes for the onion rings. We asked for some souces (to spice up the very floppy flavours), and we were brought only Ketchup and Mayo. We remembered that there were various souces, so we asked for them, but apparently, they do not have them anymore. (No BBQ for the big Steak?) Overall, I do not raccomend it, and I sincerely hope they messed up with our order and acted like nothing happened. It's still, you know, a bit frustrating since we still paid for it, but ok. The lower bun was so pressed that it was thin as a sheet of paper (not exaggerating) for all of us. As soon as it's lifted up, it's already broken into pieces. McDonald's has better hamburgers, and we all know that Mcdonald's has very doubtful standards in making food. The fries come as a paid optional now. (??) We took the special ones. If I have to pay for them, at least I'll get the better version. They were the best part, unfortunately..this should be a steakhouse of some sort, right? One of the girls, when we complained, asked us if we wanted to talk to the manager and we said that it's ok and that it's not necessary. We thought, initially, that we had perhaps a way too high expectations. She still told the manager that we complained, and the manager didn't care at all anyway. The phone call was way more interesting, I suppose.. The desserts were standard frozen and microwaved style. Nothing exceptional nor strange nowadays. They were indeed very eager to show us the exit door at the end. At the front desk, we were asked if everything was OK, but no one responded immediately. We had a quick "eye exchange" to decide if it's worth complaining again or not, but then we realised that the question was a "muscle memory thing." Didn't even realise that we said nothing back and continued with the bill check, reading back things as per, I suppose, house rules as quickly as humanly possible so to "finish up" quickly. As soon as the bill was paid, simply without even greeting us, by the way..... -> IT DISAPPEARED <- Nice. It's a bit rude, but ok.

Food: we had "la tagliata" that was cooked ok but it was not seasoned at all. The meat was quite chewy and dry. We had also a mixed grill that was nothing special, beside the chicken that was very tasty and tender. We had hot pork ribs that were "to die for" really good, tender and hot as hell. We really enjoyed these. Servers: they were all ok and polite, the service was fast enough. Hygiene: unfortunately I must spend few words about this topic. The tableware are not polished and looked dirty. The "tagliata" and mixed grill are served on metal plates that are all scratched with wood surrounding that looks dirty (in my point of view wood is a no go in restaurants because it is impossible to keep it clean). Check the pictures.
